People With Health Insurance Through Their Employer 

If the health insurance plan provided by your job is affordable and meets minimum standards, as most do, you won’t qualify for financial help to pay your monthly premium through Covered California if you decide to switch. For 2025, health insurance through your job is considered affordable if the employee’s share of the monthly premium for the lowest-cost plan to cover the employee only (not including the family) is not more than 9.02 percent of the employee’s household income.
